I am so very excited to be able to share my feelings and human side of what I do for a living. I am blessed to having been called in this world to be an animal healer. I want to use this blog to create awareness of the human side of the people who work every day to keep your pets healthy.
Animals have been a part of my life since birth. My grandfather gave me a heifer and a horse when I was born. I have flashbacks of horseback riding with him at the age of 2 and the very first time I met my dog Violeta at 3, a Welsh Terrier. I have memories of spending hours contemplating, petting and chasing after my uncle's german shepherds in his country home; a little girl overjoyed by the fulfillment of being surrounded by dogs. I knew then what I still know now: veterinary medicine was my calling, my purpose and the biggest joy of all. I knew this burning passion once ignited will never be extinct. I will continue to show animals my love of them though exercising my gift and multiplying it though younger people wishing to follow this same call and with the same level of commitment and love. I was born in the wold surrounded by animals and will have them around me till I exhale.
